The botanical-zoological garden is the green lung of Nahariya, a lovely park in the north of the city that combines a petting corner with a restful green space.

In our petting corner you will find: llamas, coatis, squirrels, an ostrich, a fakari, tortoises, meerkats, a wallaby, a variety of birds, assorted waterfowl and more. The animals are kept in spacious surroundings, in fenced enclosures and open displays.
You will also see animals roaming freely around the garden, such as rabbits, voles, storks, peacocks, geese, guineafowl, chickens and more. There are 4 different pools on site: a swan pool, a pelican and pond-turtle pool, a duck and spoonbill pool, and a pool of water plants and ornamental fish.
The garden is accessible to people with disabilities, and on the broad lawns you can picnic and take part in the special activities held in the garden, mainly on holidays and festivals. There is a lovely café that also offers items for children. On site there is a children's playground, an outdoor children's library and shaded corners.
Dogs are not permitted.
